“Cat” offers some of the biggest whitewater in the world during the end of May and early June. An adventure seekers delight. This canyon is truly one of natures spectacles. Later in summer water levels drop making this trip through Canyonlands National Park paddle raft friendly and accessible for anyone 10 years or older.

While we don’t run this section ourselves we work with several of the best companies in the area and are happy to discuss the trip, the outfitters and your options. Cataract Canyon trips will introduce you to a slice of this magical country. You’ll float a fifty mile section of the Colorado River through beautiful Meander Canyon, see the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers, experience the famous rapids of the Colorado’s Cataract Canyon and end the trip on the northern tip of Lake Powell.
These 6 day rowing or 3 or 4 day motorized rafting expedition, will include side canyon hiking opportunities, time and weather permitting. Some of our rowing trips may be accompanied by a motorized support raft in high water levels.
