Launch Dates

We’ve teamed up with Moki Mac one of the areas pioneering river companies to bring you this trip through Westwater Canyon. A relatively short, narrow, extremely scenic Canyon which the Colorado River has gouged and polished through an ancient uplift of black Precambrian schist. Soaring red sandstone cliffs cap the jet black schist, providing a striking contrast. Twelve sharp, technical rapids with names like Funnel Falls, Bowling Alley, Surprise and the infamous Skull, are encountered during this seventeen-mile trip. We launch at the Westwater Ranger Station, and take out seventeen miles downstream at the Cisco boat ramp, both just off I-70, between Green River, Utah and Grand Junction, Colorado and approximatly 60 miles from Moab.

Meeting Time: 8am
