FAQ- Moab Rock Climbing
If you are getting ready to go on your next rock climbing adventure with us, then you may have a few questions. Some of the most common questions that we get asked include:
Do You Provide Equipment?
Yes, we provide all the necessary equipment that you need. We will make sure that you are properly equipped with quality gear that fits when you meet with our rock climbing guides in Moab Utah.
What Is Top Roping?
Top roping is a specific type of climbing where the rope passes through an anchor at the top of the climb. The climber is securely attached to the rope for the duration of the climb. We will provide you with the best rock climbing tours in Moab UT!
Will my climbing trip be private? Can I Book as an Individual?
Yes, we guide each of our bookings as a private trip. We have found that, rarely do peoples abilities and expectations align closely enough to combine bookings.
Will the Tour Be Cancelled if It Rains?
We watch the weather closely to make sure that your trip can be guided as scheduled. We have a tremendous amount of experience and we use this when deciding whether or not we can climb. Our sandstone is pourous and when it rains the rock becomes soft and is easily damaged. In most cases, we will cancel the tour due to rain. If we cancel the tour before you arrive, then we will provide you the opportunity to reschedule or issue a refund.
What Happens in Case of a Sudden Thunderstorm?
In the event of a sudden thunderstorm, we have a policy that we follow. We always put safety first. If we have to stop the adventure before we reach the halfway point (or at the halfway point), we will only charge you for half of the trip.
