This was the best climbing instruction I've ever received. 10/10!
My wife and I had a safe and canyoneering experience with Red River Adventures. The hiking, views, and rappels were scenic and thrilling. Extra shout-out to our guides Mary and Derek. We will go with Red River again next time we visit Moab.
We booked a private guide climbing trip for two relatively inexperienced climbers. Carl was an expert climber and a great teacher. Had a very good sense of where we were as climbers and moved around to routes that challenged us and helped us grow. He was patient and willing to teach and review more advanced anchor and belay techniques. We had the best day ever and smiled the whole time.
Amazing experience! Liz was a wonderful guide on the river and the whole group had fun! Definitely book this place if you are thinking about river rafting.
Guides, service, and equipment were good, no complaints about that. However, the Fisher Tower rafting is just Class 1/2 during this time of the year, but on the website it’s listed as Class 2/3. It's just sitting on the raft for 1.5 hrs and paddling for barely 5-10 mins. The scenery was nice though.
Our guide Liz made the trip! Though the scenery was beautiful- she made what may have been a slightly less exciting experience more fun. The water was low (to no fault of the company) and the rapids were level 1, 2 at best. Liz's knowledge of the area, ability to connect with a wide range of people, and her personal stories of rafting were incredible. From start to finish the company was kind, thorough, and professional. We had an amazing trip on the river and highly recommend this adventure! Book this today! P. S. Our bus driver was also top notch!
Tolles Erlebnis, das uns alle begeistert hat! Konnten unsere eigentlich geplante Tour wegen des Wetters nicht gehen, woraufhin uns "Bow and Arrow" als Alternative angeboten wurde. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!! Es war toll! Das "Abseilen " war spektakulär und dank unserer tollen Führerin haben wir uns nie unsicher gefühlt! Einfach genial! Selbst unsere (jugendlichen) Jungs waren hin und weg! Was will man mehr?!
Our tour guide Erin was great!! Full of info of all the spots in moab! Got to stop on a island in the middle of the river with the kiddos for some snaks and photos, such a great experience!!! We'll worth it would recommend it 👌 😉
This tour was amazing! Great easy level 1&2 rapids fun for the whole family. Aaron was a great jokster guide. Lunch was awesome. Great adventure!!
The water was low due to the time of year, but Liz made it really fun, telling stories and encouraging swimming. Even when we had a little issue with the pick up vehicle, the staff jumped into solution mode and got us all back with very little inconvenience. Very professional!
Great experience overall!! I did the “full day” expedition and it was a surreal and calming experience down the Colorado river! The guide, Erin, and the other staff Dave, Liz, and Sam were all accommodating and hospitable from the instructing the team mechanics when operating a raft to supplying the lunch and snacks for the tour group! Will definitely come back!

Beautiful views while enjoying a nice float down the river. Smaller rapids in August. Erin and Paige were great guides.

Our family of four took the Fisher Towers full day tour and it was wonderful! The views were amazing and the picnic was delish! Our guide Erin was informative and a complete joy.
We had a fabulous time canyoneering with my family (8/9 year old kids). Sam and Mary were our guides for the Bow and Arrow 1/2 day hike. They pointed us to nearby attractions, discussed safety but most importantly showed us a great time! We appreciate their patience (even in the heat!). Thank you

Our guide Mary was excellent! Very knowledgeable, kind, and easy to get along with. It felt just like another day hanging out at the crag in a surreal environment. Mary was so thoughtful in her instruction to newbies and seasoned climbers in the group. Gave 1:1 attention to everyone and helped us stay curious throughout the process! 10/10 would crag with Red River again!
Great experience! The team was very nice and helped our group get to know each other and get over that initial awkwardness. Our guide was Emily and she was phenomenal, super fun, and made the trip more fun with raft activities while also keeping us safe. I’d definitely book another trip with red river!

Guides were great and the bus driver dave was super cool! Only note, would recommend going on a year with either more water, or earlier in the season (late spring, early summer) for best results!

It's a fun time. Not too much white water, although we did get stuck on a rock and had to get hit by another raft to get off. Erin was fun and knowledgeable.

Our 1/2 day raft float trip was a highlight of our vacation in Moab. Our guide, Erin; was fun, exciting and knowledgable about the area. Our family of 6 will definitely use Red River Adventures when we go back to Moab someday!
Great experience. Lots of fun. Very accommodating, accomplished and fun guide. We had plants of time to play rafting games and swim as we choose. All guides are very personable but I think our guide John was the best.
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our experience with Red river. Guides were hilarious, fun and made the raft ride unforgettable! Can't wait to come back with our kids!

Our family has Savannah as our guide, and she did an excellent job at entertaining us! The rapids were low this time of year, so I'd suggest going earlier in the summer. The boat experience was lax and the staff were great!
Exceptional professionalism. Our guide Nate was fabulous with our family group, including our 8 year old twin girls. He took extended time with each one explaining the operation and safety features for each belay. He spoke softly and patiently with each girl as if her safety and concerns were the most important thing in the world to him. Never rushed. Never impatient. Each girl took more than 10 minutes to take those first few steps backward off the edge of the cliff--and when they did it was because of the confidence he instilled within them. Their beaming faces and sense of accomplishment were unlike anything we could create on our own. Nate helped create for us what will be a fond a life-long memory for our family. A splendid way to discover Lions Canyon with our teenagers . The explanations of our guide were clear and insightful.
We had an amazing day rafting with Red River. A big thanks to all of the staff, especially our guide Jonathan. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely accommodating to our family, especially our two kids. We learned fun raft games as well as interesting facts and history about the area, all while enjoying some fun rapids and a lot cooling off in the river.

The Utah School of Deaf and Blind had a wonderful experience Canyoneering with Adam and Rock Climbing with Nate. They were very accommodating to the needs of our students and staff. When the students asked what their favorite activity was during their week long adventure camp in Moab their response was, "Canyoneering!" That was music to my ears. Thank you for a great experience.
We had a wonderful time rafting, so much so that we went back a 2nd time! Our guide Genna was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Water was not too crazy, and we were able to get out of the raft and swim. The communication and instructions were clear & the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend!
We had an excellent time courtesy of Mary, Jonathan, and Adam. We did Long Bow with Mary and we felt extremely safe and left thinking we could repel anywhere. Then we went white water rafting with Jonathan and although there were not a lot of rapids he introduced some games and made it a blast. Last we finished with Chamisa Canyon with Adam and it was amazing. Adam was an amazing photographer and we had a blast. Definitely recommend Red River to anyone traveling to Moab.

We had three awesome adventures with Red River on our trip to Moab. We had Mary for the Bow and Arrow canyoneering experience and it was awesome. She was great teaching skills needed to stay safe and enjoy the morning. We went rafting with Jonathan that afternoon and he made everyone in our boat have a great trip, teaching us about the river and surrounding area and playing games with us throughout the adventure. Our last experience was canyoneering with Adam. We did the Chasima canyon experience which included a lot of fun scrambling and repelling and he made the day fun, exciting and taught us a lot about the area. All three were an amazing experience! Thank you!!!
